For lunch the other day I made this tasty little sandwich. It tasted so fresh and was so simple. I will definitely be throwing this together again, although I  found that I’m not a fan of basil in large quantities and took most of it out. I can’t wait until I have fresh tomatoes and basil out of my own garden!!

Tomato, Basil, and Mozzarella Sandwich

  • 3 tomato slices (I used Roma)
  • 3 slices of mozzarella
  • a few basil leaves (I ended up taking most of mine out)
  • french baguette
  • A sprinkle of course salt and some pepper
  • a drizzle of basalmic vinegar

Layer and enjoy!
