We chose to stay in tonight for dinner and decided to split the responsibilities and cook together! It was a fun and inexpensive “date”! I ran to the farm stand and picked up some steak tips and other groceries. On the menu:
- Bread with garlic and chive feta spread
- Bourbon marinated steak tips
- Mashed potatoes
- Kale chips
Reid cooked the meat and I handled the rest. The steak was already marinated so it came together quickly. He coated it lightly in a flour mixture and then cooked it in a pan with a little oil. They were pretty good! The bread with the feta spread (Joseph’s brand) was delicious! I love bread! 🙂
I picked up these tarts too…pecan and blueberry, both made at the market. Served warmed ala mode. We shared and both were good, but the ice cream was not. 😦 It was freezer burned…and I just bought it today! Oh well.
And here’s a slightly better picture of the new ‘do!
Hope your Saturday night is smashing! 😀
